Looking beyond Spain? Intern in the USA.
Through our US sister program we place international students in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas — with full J-1 visa sponsorship.
The J-1 Exchange Visitor Program is the US State Department pathway that allows international students and recent graduates to complete an internship or traineeship with a US company for 6 to 18 months. It requires an accredited sponsor to issue the DS-2019 form and to review a detailed training plan (form DS-7002) that matches your academic background to the day-to-day tasks at the host company. Through our US sister organisation we handle both the sponsorship and the placement so you deal with a single team from your first CV review to your arrival at the airport.
Our host network is concentrated in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas because those four cities cover the widest range of English-speaking training opportunities — from Wall Street finance and Manhattan media in New York, to bilingual real estate and hospitality in Miami, entertainment and tech startups across Los Angeles, and hotel, F&B and events management on the Las Vegas Strip. We also place culinary and pastry trainees in Michelin-recommended kitchens across all four cities.
Because Spain Internship and our US partner are part of the same student mobility network, we can bridge programmes: many candidates complete a first internship in Spain to build experience and a professional CV in English, then move on to a J-1 traineeship in the US the following year. Your coordinator keeps the same file across both mobilities so paperwork, references and academic recognition move with you.
