Job shadowing & vocational training in Spain — real workplaces, real skills.

Job shadowing is a structured short-term professional observation programme in which participants spend time alongside experienced professionals in real Spanish workplaces. It differs from a standard internship in that the emphasis is on observation and learning rather than on executing tasks independently. Durations typically range from 3 days to 2 weeks, making it the go-to format for teachers, trainers, and VET staff who need to fulfil Erasmus+ staff mobility requirements without taking extended leave from their home institutions.

Vocational training programmes, by contrast, involve active participation in workplace tasks and run for longer periods — typically 2 weeks to 3 months for VET learners, and up to 6 months for Erasmus+ KA1 participants with full grant support. Spain Internship manages placements across 9+ sectors: food and gastronomy, creative arts and media, health and pharmacy, education and early childhood, tourism and hospitality, engineering and IT, NGOs, architecture, and business communications. Each participant is individually matched with a host company aligned to their professional background and learning objectives.

Both programme types are fully compatible with Erasmus+ KA1 mobility funding. Spain Internship prepares all required hosting documentation — hosting agreements, internship contracts, risk assessment templates, and final certification — so that sending institutions can fulfil their grant obligations without the administrative burden of managing paperwork across international borders. For groups of 5 or more, we also coordinate cultural integration activities, shared accommodation, and group arrival logistics.
