Premier Hotel Internship: Diverse Roles in Gran Canaria (Accommodation, Food & Transfer Included)

Role Highlights:
Various internship positions are available across multiple departments, including Direction, Reception, Reservations, Marketing, Administration & Purchases, and Computing/IT. Below are the specific responsibilities for each department:

• Direction:

  • Plan and organise accommodation/catering, manage budgets, set sales targets, plan work schedules, deal with complaints, ensure smooth events, and supervise maintenance.

• Reception:

  • Check guests in/out, plan group arrivals, assist with cash advances, exchange money, check folios, and provide commercial information.

• Reservations:

  • Process group reservations, maximise yield, liaise with departments, assist front office with account closing, answer calls, and ensure accurate reservations.

• Marketing:

  • Conduct site inspection protocols, prepare business trips, manage travel industry programs, assist in important meetings, follow up calls, handle DHL/normal mail, and develop markets.

• Administration & Purchases:

  • Control daily financial reports, manage daily payments, control travel agency vouchers/commissions, resolve billing issues, negotiate prices with distributors, prepare month-end closings, and control purchasing procedures.

• Computing/IT:

  • Maintain network security/backups, coordinate issue resolution, support end users, install/configure hardware, monitor/enforce IT policies, and suggest technology enhancements.

By the End of the Internship:
