Job Description
Role Highlights:
Various internship placements are available in multiple departments, including Reception, Marketing/Communications, Business Administration, PR, Reservations, Kitchen, Rooms Division, Maintenance, Waiters, and more. Below are the specific responsibilities for each department:
Reception:
Check guests in/out, provide basic concierge assistance, plan group arrivals, assist with cash advances, exchange money, check folios, and offer commercial information.
Spanish B2 level required.
Marketing/Communications:
Develop sales kits, manage DHL/normal mail, develop markets, prepare business trips (brochures, cards, appointments, hotel bookings), manage travel industry programs, site inspection protocols, assist in important meetings, and follow up calls.
Spanish B1 level required.
Reservations:
Process group reservations, maximise yield, liaise with departments for group arrivals, assist front office with account closing, answer calls, and ensure accurate reservations.
Public Relations & Customer Care:
Focus on customer relations.
Good Spanish required.
Journalism:
Study journalism.
Good Spanish required.
Kitchen:
Work in gastronomic, marina/seafood, casual dining, main kitchen, off-site catering, or pastry.
Rooms Division:
Manage general front office operations (Reception, Reservations, Concierge), report to management, spot-check rooms, authorise leave, control expenditures, and attend meetings.
Spanish B1 level required.
Maintenance:
Replace/repair electrical accessories, clean/replace air conditioners, perform daily rounds, oversee property grounds, and conduct preventative maintenance.
Cocktail Bar:
Serve customers, prepare drinks, and provide all-inclusive beverage service.
Graphic Design:
Work on UX/UI, responsive design, and designing newsletters/menus.
Graphic design studies required.
Accounting:
Manage accounts, invoicing, collecting payments, following payments, and problem-solving.
By the End of the Internship:
