Role Overview

As a Legal Operations Associate Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our International Expansion team. Acting as the bridge between Operations and Legal, your mission is to research and interpret European legislation related to short-term rentals, translating complex legal requirements into actionable guidance for the Operations team. You will actively contribute to identifying necessary product implementations and advising on legal compliance for international market growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyse European short-term rental legislation, summarising findings for operational application.
• Collaborate closely with the International Expansion Manager to support cross-functional legal operations.
• Identify and recommend product or process adjustments to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide actionable guidance on compliance and risk management for international expansion initiatives.
• Document and communicate legal insights clearly to the Operations team.
• Assist in developing scalable processes that ensure ongoing compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Candidate Requirements

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) with strong academic performance.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (B2 minimum) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to balance legal research with operational and project management tasks effectively.
• Team player mindset, adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
• Minimum internship duration of 6 months, with a strong commitment to learning and growth.
