Paid Summer Camp Leisure & Child-Care Assistant internship in Castellón

Role Highlights:
As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will supervise campers and focus on their programme, health, happiness, discipline, cleanliness, safety, routine duties, character, and skill development. You will be responsible for supporting the social adjustment of each camper and assisting them in planning, carrying out, and evaluating projects and activities. You will promote camper participation, assist with housekeeping chores, and take turns with other counselors in various responsibilities. A key task is to teach campers English skills (writing, reading, and speaking). Additionally, you will work closely with camp directors and staff to resolve any difficulties and help develop, implement, and evaluate the camp programme.

By the End of the Internship:
You will gain extensive experience in child care, recreational leadership, and English language instruction within a vibrant summer camp environment. This internship will help you develop strong supervisory, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, all while setting a positive example for campers. Accommodation is provided as a key benefit.

Who You Are:

• Fluent in English.
• Studies related to or previous working experience with children is required.
• You must provide a Criminal Records certificate.
• Available for the internship from 24th June to 31st August 2024, with 40 hours per week in rotative shifts (8 hours/day, 5 days/week, with 2 days off).
