Island English Educator: Paid Teaching Assistant in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands

Embark on a unique journey as a Paid English Teaching Assistant in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands. This role offers flexible availability periods, inviting you to create a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve English fluency in an exciting island setting. Role Highlights:

• Plan exciting lessons appropriate for the class's ability whilst encouraging students to speak as much English as possible at all times.
• Establish a positive learning environment for students.
• Lessons to be motivating and engaging with focus on all four aspects of the language.
• Provide feedback and support which encourages and motivates students to constantly improve and develop their language skills.
• Complete all administrative duties in a timely manner.

By the End of the Internship: You will gain substantial experience in dynamic lesson planning, fostering student motivation, and comprehensive language skill development. This role is ideal for developing versatile teaching abilities in a unique cultural and geographical context. Who You Are:

• Possess a Native / Advanced level of English.
• Have Basic Spanish language skills.
• All candidates must have the required documents to work in Spain.
• Available for 20-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with two different availabilities: 1st of June - 30th September (not flexible) or September – June 2025.
