Role Overview

As a Part-Time English Teaching Assistant Intern, you’ll support seasoned educators in delivering dynamic lessons that focus on grammar, vocabulary, and conversational English. You’ll engage adult learners in lively classroom activities, helping them gain confidence in English communication while you build your own teaching portfolio and earn a TEFL Level 5 certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and prepare interactive English lessons targeting grammar and vocabulary enhancement.
• Facilitate small-group and one-on-one conversational English practice for adult learners.
• Design engaging lesson materials and classroom activities tailored to diverse proficiency levels.
• Administer level placement tests and assist in evaluating student progress.
• Grade assignments promptly and provide constructive feedback to foster language development.
• Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation.

Candidate Requirements

• High English proficiency (B2–C2 CEFR) with excellent communication skills.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an English, Education, or related program.
• TEFL Level 5 certification or eagerness to complete the included training.
• Positive, energetic attitude and passion for teaching adult learners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to diverse classroom settings.
• Ability to work part-time with flexible scheduling throughout term time.
• Legal authorization to intern and work in Spain.
