Role Overview

As a Part-Time Early Childhood Education Intern, you will serve as a tutor for toddlers aged 2-3 in a kindergarten setting. You will adapt your teaching approach to each child’s unique needs, facilitating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role combines hands-on teaching experience with the implementation of a bilingual educational project that emphasizes multiple intelligences and holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and lead interactive English activities, games, and learning sessions for toddlers in a bilingual setting.
• Develop and prepare educational materials that align with age-appropriate learning objectives and multiple intelligence theories.
• Implement a structured bilingual educational project, promoting both English language acquisition and cognitive development.
• Observe and adapt to each child’s individual learning style, ensuring personalized attention and support.
• Collaborate with senior educators and team members to design a cohesive and engaging curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and social interaction.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduated with a recognized degree in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (EQF 5 or EQF 6), homologated in Spain.
• Proficient in English, with the ability to engage toddlers in conversational and instructional activities.
• Prior professional experience working with children aged 0-3 years.
• Patient, responsible, and highly motivated with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
• Ability to commit to a 12-month internship covering the full academic year (September to August).
• Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) clearance required.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, with 30 calendar days off plus 10 personal days.
