Role Overview

This part-time English teacher internship in Spain offers immersive, practical teaching assistant experience in the stunning Canary Islands. You’ll design and deliver dynamic lessons covering reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with a strong focus on conversational English practice. You’ll support lead teachers in creating an inspiring, positive classroom atmosphere—perfect for those aiming to complete a Level 5 TEFL qualification and gain real-world teaching exposure in a Spanish context.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare engaging lesson materials tailored to the abilities of classes ranging from children to adult learners.
• Lead interactive speaking activities to boost conversational English confidence.
• Provide constructive feedback on all four language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation.
• Assist with administrative duties such as exam preparation, student progress tracking, and record-keeping.

Candidate Requirements

• Native or near-native English proficiency with strong conversational English skills.
• Eagerness to complete Level 5 TEFL certification (provided) or existing TEFL qualification.

• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to diverse learning styles.
