FAQ

Questions before you apply

Are the internships listed here paid?

Some are paid and some are unpaid — Spanish law allows both for university-linked placements. Use the 'Paid only' toggle to hide unpaid roles. Typical monthly stipends range from €300 for entry-level marketing to €1,200+ for senior IT and engineering profiles.

Can I apply directly, or do I need to book a service?

You can apply directly to any listed internship for free — open the role and use the application form. Our paid placement service is optional and adds curated matching, paperwork support and pre-arrival help; browsing and self-applying stays free.

How long are the internships?

Most host companies want a minimum commitment of 2-3 months so you can add real value; the sweet spot is 4-6 months. Duration is listed on each internship card and you can filter by it inside a role's detail page.

Do I need to speak Spanish?

For IT, engineering, digital marketing and hospitality roles in international teams, English at B2 is enough. Roles that involve local customer contact (front-desk tourism, education, some sales positions) usually require B1+ Spanish — this is stated on the internship.

Can non-EU students apply?

Yes. You will need a student visa or a convenio de prácticas from your home university. Our team can guide you through the paperwork if you enrol in the placement service; the visa process usually takes 6-10 weeks.
