Role Highlights:
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of interaction for customers, playing a crucial role in shaping their overall experience and satisfaction. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive. Your tasks will include:
Greeting and welcoming customers as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional reception experience.
Handling face-to-face inquiries and managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Planning and organising group arrivals, ensuring smooth coordination and accurate processing of group reservations in accordance with hotel policies.
Managing tourist information in several languages, assisting guests with local attractions and services to enhance their stay.
Taking care of general reception management tasks, handling international phone reception, and directing calls as needed.
Meeting the diverse needs of guests, resolving any problems or issues that arise during their stay, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with the hotel services.
Throughout your internship, you will gain experience in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment, while also fostering excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
By the End of the Internship:
You will have developed strong customer service, organisational, and problem-solving skills in the context of a 3-star hotel environment. The practical experience you gain in hotel reception and front office operations will provide you with a solid foundation for starting your international career in hospitality. In addition to invaluable experience in the hospitality industry, you will have the opportunity to interact with people from all over the world, further developing your communication skills in a multilingual environment.
