About the Host Organization

Role Overview

As an Event Management Intern in Benidorm, you’ll support the full event lifecycle—from concept and supplier sourcing to on-site execution and post-event reporting. You’ll help transform ideas into seamless experiences, building practical skills in planning, logistics, guest services, and stakeholder communication while contributing to tourism-driven projects that elevate the city’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with event planning timelines, task lists, and coordination documents for corporate and social events.
• Liaise with venues, hotels, caterers, audiovisual providers, and transport partners to confirm details and schedules.
• Support marketing materials and listings: write event blurbs, prepare visuals, and help manage social posts.
• Contribute to guest services: manage RSVP lists, prepare badges, and assist with welcome desks and wayfinding.
• Participate in on-site setup and strike, ensuring décor, signage, and technical elements are ready on time.
• Collect feedback, compile post-event reports, and suggest improvements based on attendee insights and KPIs.

Candidate Requirements

• Studying or recently graduated in Event Management, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator in English; Spanish or another EU language is an added advantage.
• Creative problem-solver with a proactive, hands-on mindset and customer-focused attitude.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments, including occasional evenings or weekends during events.
• Availability for a minimum of 3 months in Benidorm or nearby areas.
• Eligibility for Erasmus+ or similar mobility programs preferred.

By the End of Your Internship

You will develop a practical understanding of end-to-end event operations within a leading Spanish tourism hub, strengthening your portfolio and professional confidence while expanding your network across venues and suppliers in Benidorm.

• Applied experience in event planning, supplier coordination, and on-site execution.
• Improved client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of tourism logistics unique to Benidorm and the Costa Blanca.
• Confidence using checklists, budgets, and KPI-based post-event evaluations.
